Safe-T-Cert is the Safety Management System (SMS) for the Construction Industry where construction companies and related businesses can now achieve a recognised standard for their safety commitment. The Safe-T-Cert was developed jointly by the Construction Industry Federation in Dublin and the Construction Employers Federation in Belfast and was launched in October 2000 and is a recognised system under the Construction Safety Partnership in the Republic of Ireland and the Build Safe initiative in Northern Ireland.
